Katherine T. McCarley
The legal profession has always drawn Katherine in—being a suited advocate and fighting for someone without a voice in a court of law is as meaningful to her as it is exciting. Naturally curious since a young child, Katherine thrived on finding out how and why things work. During law school, she loved learning the process of understanding how laws come to be and how those laws affect people. As a dual major in English and Psychology at Canisius College, Katherine learned about the power of perspective and how it can affect outcomes. All of this and more led Katherine to become a litigator. She is an intensive researcher and an effective communicator which allows her to craft persuasive arguments in support of her clients’ interests.
Katherine believes her clients’ goals and expectations should remain at the forefront of an attorney’s mind and that through effective and timely communication, she can best serve her clients’ needs. When speaking with a client, Katherine takes the time to learn and understand the client and their business so that she can find a reasonable solution at a reasonable cost, meeting or exceeding that client’s expectations. This lends itself to identifying issues before they arise and building a strong, trusting, and long-lasting relationship.
In her spare time, Katherine enjoys drawing, painting, and singing. A goal of hers is to give back to the community in which she lives and work by starting an organization that provides scholarship information and opportunities to access programs to children in need.
