Leah Tarantino Cintineo

Leah is chair of the Firm’s Litigation Department and Family Law Practice Group. She represents clients in divorce and post-divorce matters, pre-nuptial agreements, child custody cases, and child support litigation. She also has years of experience handling divorce matters involving businesses, complex financial issues, and extensive marital estates, as well as preparing QDROs for the division of retirement assets at the completion of a divorce.

Drawing on her experience as a criminal prosecutor, Leah excels at making powerful arguments to the courts and creating strategies to help her clients reach a favorable outcome — while minimizing stress and emotional toll. A trustworthy, compassionate, and effective advocate, Leah applies a personal approach to each case and listens closely to clients to discern what is most important to them.

Leah practices in both Supreme and Family Courts throughout the Seventh Judicial District, serves on the Attorneys for Children panel for the Appellate Division, Fourth Department, and is a certified collaborative divorce attorney and member of the Collaborative Law Association of the Rochester Area (CLARA). Her insightful interpersonal skills and ability to strongly negotiate in litigated court matters or in a collaborative setting have had a positive impact on the lives of many families throughout Western New York.
