To most people, real estate law is about places, but to Kayla Gibson, it's about people. Kayla believes in being responsive, responsible, and accountable, and works to make the process of real estate transactions as easy as possible for her clients.
Kayla became an indispensible part of Underberg & Kessler when she interned with our team during her senior year of college. She has become the go-to person for one of the most critical aspects of real estate and municipal law—legwork. Her capacity for detail and her ability to unearth important areas of research, analysis, and documentation are critical to making sure that even the most complex transaction goes smoothly.
In addition to a law degree from the Syracuse University College of Law, Kayla graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Economics from Nazareth College. Her business background gives her an edge when handling the acquisition, development, financing, zoning, sale and leasing of real estate. Kayla is a SPLASH programming committee member of the Rochester Women's Network, and a Judicial Review Board member of the Black Bar Association.
Ever since she was five years old, Kayla has wanted to be an attorney. Her enthusiasm, commitment to the profession, and ability to provide support and counsel to clients ensures her a future bright with promise.
