Oliver Wendall Holmes once said, “The life of the law has not been logic; it has been experience." As a Real Estate and Trusts Attorney, Bob Blazak brings both to Underberg & Kessler. He has the kind of unflinching logic you would expect from a former U.S. Army major and Assistant District Attorney for Ontario County. As for experience, Bob has had a successful practice for 35 years in Canandaigua, New York, and continues to be a presence there and in the Southern Tier.
Bob helps clients during some of the most critical times in life. Buying or selling a home, starting, buying or selling a business, handling a loved one's estate—are all times when you need an attorney with integrity, experience and the ability to get things done. Bob also works with real estate developers. He is experienced in all phases of real estate development, including handling municipal approvals with planning and zoning boards, the development of finances, mortgage closings, and all necessary securities filings with the NYS Attorney General's Office. Bob is also well-versed in title examination, having been designated a title insurance agent to several title insurance companies.
He has represented a number of major residential mortgage lenders as well as all local banking institutions involved in mortgage closings. And he is able to handle all aspects of Estates and Trust law, including the development and drafting of all necessary documents and the representation of fiduciaries in estate administration.
Bob has an undergraduate degree in English literature and philosophy from Norwich University, and earned his JD degree at the State University of New York in Buffalo.
