Underberg & Kessler LLP
Helen has firsthand experience of the corporate world, having worked her way up through the Legal Department at Frontier Corporation (now Global Crossing). She began in the company’s corporate department, and eventually became responsible for the company’s billing operations globally. Today, she brings that same drive and corporate experience to general business, corporate and health care law. She has experience in all forms of business transactions, from the simplest procurement contract to the mergers and acquisitions of private and public companies, to domestic and international joint ventures. Our corporate clients benefit tremendously from her unique perspective as both an in-house lawyer and operations executive.
Helen earned her Master of Business Administration degree with honors from the William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration, her J.D., cum laude, from Syracuse University College of Law, and her B.A., cum laude, from Mount Holyoke College.
Helen is active in the community, serving as a member of the Executive Committee and Board of Trustees of Geva Theatre Center, the Board of Directors of the YMCA of Greater Rochester, the Board of Directors and the Public Policy Committee of the Livingston County Chamber of Commerce, and of the Board of Directors of the Avon Rotary-Lion Ambulance Service, Inc. She is Chair of the Livingston County Education Alliance Scholarship Committee and a director of the Syracuse University Law Alumni Association. Helen is also a member of the Monroe County Bar Association and the Avon Rotary Club.
