A seasoned business attorney, Steve has a unique perspective on the challenges many of our clients face today. Formerly a bank officer, he has a practical understanding of the inner workings of businesses and financial institutions. He represents business corporations, banking organizations, investment companies, trust companies and investment advisors. He also possesses an extraordinary background in health care law and trusts and estates.
A graduate of Amherst College and Yale Law School, Steve was a partner at Nixon, Hargrave, Devans & Doyle before joining Lincoln First Banks, Inc. From 1967 to 1981, he was an officer at Lincoln First Banks, ultimately serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Thereafter, before joining Underberg & Kessler in 1988, he was a partner at Harris, Beach & Wilcox.
Steve has served previously as a trustee and officer of several charitable organizations, including Mercy Flight Central, Inc., Highland Hospital of Rochester, The Center for Governmental Research, Planned Parenthood of the Rochester/Syracuse Region, and Hospital Trustees of New York State.
