Irv joined the firm when there were only four other attorneys in the practice. Suffice it to say that Irv is both the foundation of our firm and a pillar of our community.
He humbly describes himself as an "old fashioned general practitioner" and in the early years of the firm, he wore many legal hats. He has worked in the areas of corporate law, estates and trusts, real estate, financing and litigation. He works with corporate and commercial clients in the purchase, sale, development, zoning and financing of real estate projects. However, he has never lost touch with the people who have been with him since the beginning---his individual clients. Irv prides himself on always being available to help those who look to him for advice.
Irv is a 2002 recipient of
The Daily Record's
Nathaniel Award, awarded to those in the legal profession who have "gone above and beyond the call of duty in the name of justice." Among his community activities, Irv is a Trustee and former President of the Monroe County Library System and is a former Director of the Rochester Economic Development Corporation. He is a member of the Board of Trustees and a past president of the Rundel Library Foundation.
